My name is Pauline, and I believe that Connection is at the heart of healing.
The reason I became a Marriage & Family Therapist…
… stems from my deep curiosity about relationships, my longing for closeness, and the risks that come with them. Growing up in my big, loud, and dysfunctional family, I witnessed both deep love and painful disconnection. There were many days when staying connected felt like a struggle, as if closeness with others inevitably led to hurt. That message shaped me—it was confusing, especially as an intuitive and sensitive middle child who understood pain, loneliness, and betrayal from a young age.
Yet, despite the challenges, love was always present in our home. Over time, I realized that how we learn to love isn’t always the healthiest way. This sparked my fascination with family therapy and healing relationships—it was the only career path that truly felt like mine. Therapy has helped me more than I can express, bringing healing and closeness to my family and my marriage in ways I never imagined. It has been the greatest return on investment in my life.
This is why I am so passionate about deep connection—helping others find their way to healing and inner peace, just as I have. This only happened once I asked for help. It was through connection with others where I found my way to healing. Beyond my personal experiences, I’ve been fortunate to learn from incredible teachers, mentors, and supervisors throughout my training. The greatest privilege of my work is sharing the gift of therapy and witnessing others find their own path to healing, in their own time.
In our sessions, I create a space that feels safe, supportive, and free of judgment—where you can explore your emotions, deepen self-understanding, and practice self-kindness.
